Display panels 2022 TR

The Tales from the River project is really getting going in 2022, with drop in sessions at Oxborough and Thetford so far (see Swim history project plans), and a talk to the Brandon and District Local History Society.

A set of display panels illustrate some of the photos and stories we have collected so far (PDFs and text available to download below).

We would love to hear more stories and memories, or see any old photos you can share of activities in the Brecks and fen edge rivers and other waters. Please contact me if you would like to contribute.

At drop ins and other events we will ask people to put a spot on the map or put their story on a Post-it note where they swam or did other recreation activities.
